Shane McMahon reportedly has heat for his producing work in the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match

As previously noted, one source told Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that plans for the 2022 men’s WWE Royal Rumble match were changed “literally 20 times” prior to the event.

Shane McMahon was said to have been one of the producers for the match and Steve Carrier of RingsideNews.com reports that there is heat on Shane for his work. Carrier noted the following…

“Shane McMahon was producer and lead writer for the Men’s Royal Rumble match and there is A TON of heat on him today for it.

We were told that Shane was fighting everyone, booking himself to be one of the last one’s out, & he has the entire locker room really angry.”

Carrier added that people were complaining to Vince McMahon which led to changes being made. Seth Rollins was said to have been part of the men’s Rumble match at one point.

Carrier also wrote that Shane is reportedly planned to be part of Wrestlemania 38 in some capacity.
