Seth Rollins and Tyrese Haliburton interrupt Roman Reigns segment with Jalen Brunson

In the final segment of Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson appeared alongside Roman Reigns. Roman said, “This is where greatness acknowledges greatness,” while praising New York as the home of WWE and discussing Brunson’s leadership. He noted that Brunson helped end the Knicks’ 53-year championship drought and emphasized that success was a team effort.

Roman stated, “There is only one Tribal Chief and there is only one captain.”

Roman then said every WWE champion needs a title and presented Brunson with his own custom championship belt, telling him, “Jalen earned it.” Roman closed by saying it was time to “acknowledge them.”

The celebration was interrupted when Seth Rollins’ music hit, leading to Tyrese Haliburton appearing with a chair. Rollins attacked Roman from behind and attempted to hit a Stomp. However, Brunson stepped in front of Roman to protect him.

Roman recovered and took down Rollins with a Superman Punch. The show ended as Roman held up the NBA trophy while Brunson posed with the WWE world titles.
