Sasha Banks reportedly not backstage at WWE Smackdown in Phoenix

It was previously reported that Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair were “cleared” to perform at this Sunday’s Summerslam PPV after missing two live events last weekend.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Sasha Banks is not backstage for tonight’s WWE Smackdown in Phoenix, AZ and the word going around is that she was possibly pulled from her Summerslam match. Johnson added that Bianca Belair is in attendance and he wrote the following regarding a potential replacement opponent for Belair…

“If Banks is indeed out tomorrow, perhaps it could be time for WWE to ‘break the glass’ so to speak and rush Becky Lynch back into action.”

Sasha did not appear on the Smackdown broadcast but her match against Bianca was still promoted for Summerslam.
