Update on the status of Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair at WWE Summerslam

As previously noted, Sasha Banks and WWE Smackdown women’s champion Bianca Bianca did not appear at Saturday night’s live event in Charlotte, NC due to “unforeseen circumstances” and they were also pulled from Sunday night’s live event in Columbia, SC.

It appears that the match will still be taking place on Saturday as scheduled. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“PWInsider.com has been told they are ‘cleared’ to perform and barring ‘something unforeseen’ will be at Friday Night Smackdown and Summerslam this coming weekend.”

There is still no word as to why Sasha and Bianca missed the weekend shows and people within WWE have kept quiet regarding the matter.
