Reunion of former AEW stars takes place during the June 11th 2024 edition of WWE NXT

WWE world champion Cody Rhodes made a special appearance on the June 11th 2024 edition of WWE NXT. Cody announced that a battle royal will take place next week to determine Trick Williams’ next challenge for the NXT title.

Cody met up with former AEW stars Shawn Spears, Ethan Page, and Brian Pillman Jr. in a backstage segment to hype up the battle royal. Cody said that it “seems like you guys are in a good place” before he took his leave.
