Trick Williams (c) with Lil Yachty vs. Sami Zayn for the men’s United States title took place at WWE Backlash 2026. Here are the highlights…

Things got heated before the bell rang. Trick gained the early advantage, doing “Whoop That Trick” stomps to Zayn in the corner. The tide turned when Zayn sent Trick into the steel steps on the outside. Zayn worked over Trick as there were “Let’s go Sami / Sami sucks” chants.

Trick came back with a Bookend, but Zayn kicked out. Zayn avoided an avalanche Bookend with a sunset flip powerbomb out of the corner. Zayn hit the Blue Thunder Bomb, but Trick kicked out. Zayn feigned a knee injury and nearly beat Trick with a rollup. When Lil Yachty got on the apron, Zayn used the candy cane kendo stick as a weapon, but Trick kicked out again.

While the referee was distracted, Yachty hit Zayn with the kendo stick, and then Trick went for the cover, but Zayn kicked out. Zayn attacked Yachty outside the ring with the kendo stick. Trick went after Zayn, but Zayn ended up giving Trick a DDT on the steel steps. After giving Yachty a Helluva Kick, Zayn went for a Helluva Kick on Trick in the ring but missed. Trick then connected with the Trick Shot to win the match.
