Results of The Acclaimed vs. Swerve in Our Glory at AEW Full Gear 2022

The Acclaimed (c) vs. Swerve in Our Glory for the AEW tag team titles took place at AEW Full Gear 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Billy Gunn was not at ringside with The Acclaimed.

* Acclaimed had early momentum and were able to send Lee out of the ring. They hit “scissor me timbers” to Swerve as Lee got back on the apron.

* Swerve in our Glory were able gain the upper hand. Swerve placed a piece of the guardrail up against the ring as Lee worked over Bowens. The announcers were playing up how Bowens was not 100%.

* Caster was eventually able to get the hot tag and delivered some offense on Lee and Swerve. Bowens tagged back in and hit a cutter but Swerve kicked out. Lee saved Swerve from landing on the guardrail. However, Caster hit a crossbody to Lee off the apron through the guardrail.

* Swerve hit several kicks to the head of Bowens but Bowens remained defiant. Swerve hit another kick but Bowens managed to kick out. Bowens avoided the swerve stomp and tagged in Caster. Caster hit the mic drop to Swerve but Lee broke up the pin.

* Lee tagged in and the tide turned. Lee and Swerve hit the powerbomb/stomp combo to Caster but Caster kicked out. Bowens tagged in and Caster was thrown over the timekeeper’s table by Swerve. Swerve grabbed pliers but Billy Gunn ran down to make the save. As the referees were dealing with Gunn, Swerve handed the pliers to Lee but Lee threw them down. Swerve slapped Lee. Lee helped up Bowens and walked out on Swerve. Acclaimed then finished off Swerve and scored the pinfall victory.
