Swerve Strickland vs. Dustin Rhodes took place at the 2023 AEW Worlds End PPV event. Here are the highlights…

* Swerve attacked Dustin as Dustin was getting into the ring. Swerve threw Dustin into the barricade and then the steel steps. Prince Nana put a cinder block around Dustin’s foot and then Swerve stomped on it from the apron. Officials started to help Dustin to the back but he refused to leave. Dustin got back into the ring and the match was officially started.

* As soon as the bell rang, Swerve continued to attack Dustin. Dustin managed to fight back and hit a crossbody but Swerve kicked out. Dustin hit a destroyer followed by a powerslam but Swerve kicked out again. Prince Nana got on the apron and was knocked off by Dustin.

* The tide turned and Dustin yelled “come on mother f*cker” and flipped off Swerve in defiance. Swerve hit two house call kicks followed by the stomp to pick up the victory.
