Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee took place at the WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE. Here are the highlights…

* Lee tried to go after Escobar right away but Escobar was ready for him. Lee was sent to the outside and thrown into the steel steps. Escobar tried to injure Lee’s leg but was unsuccessful. Lee hit a dive over the top on Escobar and the crowd started a “NXT” chant.

* Escobar regained control and started pulling at Lee’s mask. There “f*ck you” chants directed at Escobar. Lee recovered and hit a stomp off the top rope Escobar kicked out. The two exchanged punches and running knees. Lee was able to hit a sit-out powerbomb but Escobar kicked out again.

* Escobar stopped Lee’s momentum and won the match with a destroyer followed by the Phantom Driver.
