Samoa Joe (c) vs. Shane Taylor for the ROH world television title took place at AEW All Out 2023. Here are the highlights…

* Before the match, officials wanted to help MJF to the back but he insisted on walking away by himself. Samoa Joe made his entrance and shoved MJF while they passed. MJF ran into the ring and attacked Joe. Security came down to separate them as the crowd started a “let them fight” chant.

* Taylor took it to Joe right off the bat and the two exchanged shots on the outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Joe took control and went for a pin but Taylor kicked out at one.

* Taylor gained the upper hand and came off the middle ropes with a splash but Joe kicked out. Joe recovered the won the match via submission with the Coquina Clutch.
