* Darby went right after Luchasaurus when the match started but was caught and thrown into the barricade. Luchasaurus sent Darby into the steel steps and Christian gave orders to continue the destruction. Darby was busted open from going into the steps. Luchasaurus then put the steps on top of Darby’s back and walked on them.

* Darby struggled to get back into the match but managed to hit a somersault dive off the top to Luchasaurus on the outside. Back in the ring, Darby countered Luchasaurus and nearly won the match.

* Luchasaurus regained the upper hand and applied a torture rack. On the outside of the ring, Christian wanted Wayne to throw in the towel but Wayne refused. Darby escaped and hit Christian with a suicide dive.
* Both ended up in the corner and Darby gave Luchasaurus an avalanche code red but Luchasaurus kicked out. Darby went for the coffin drop but Christian hit Wayne with a steel chair. Darby was distracted and that allowed Luchasaurus to hit two tombstone piledrivers followed by a lariat to score the victory.
* After the match, Darby was about to get a conchairto by Christian but several AEW wrestlers came down to make the save.
