Results of Mariah May vs. Thunder Rosa at AEW Worlds End 2024 PPV

Mariah May (c) vs. Thunder Rosa for the AEW women’s title in a Tijuana street fight (falls count anywhere) took place at the 2024 AEW Worlds End PPV event. Here are the highlights…

* During her entrance, Mariah taunted Rosa’s father at ringside and Rosa went right after Mariah to start the match. The two fought by the stage and Mariah gained control with a DDT. Mariah took a bottle of tequila and spit it in the face of Rosa. Rosa responded by spearing Mariah through a board that was set up against the tunnel. The two eventually got back into the ring.

* Rosa dumped out thumb tacks from a pinata but Mariah ended up giving Rosa the Mayday onto the tacks. Mariah wrapped barbed wire around her knee and went for a strike but missed and hit the steel steps. Rosa took her father’s cane and used it as a weapon on Mariah. Rosa choked Mariah with a chain.

* Mariah was able to blind Rosa with dirt from the Tijuana graveyard. Mariah then won the match with a piledriver off the apron through a table on the floor.
