Kazuchika Okada vs. Ricochet in a Continental Classic semi-final match took place at the 2024 AEW Worlds End PPV event. Here are the highlights…

* Ricochet sent Okada to the floor but Okada quickly got back in the ring and took down Ricochet with a big boot. Okada slapped the head of Ricochet and got a big pop from the crowd. Ricochet was eventually able to take control of the match and he taunted the crowd. The crowd sang a “Hey hey hey you’re bald” song at Ricochet.

* Ricochet continued his momentum but couldn’t put Okada away. Okada was able to avoid a 450 splash and took down Ricochet with a neckbreaker. Okada came off the top rope with an elbow drop and went for the rainmaker but Ricochet was able to counter.

* Ricochet came off the top rope with a shooting star press but Okada kicked out. Okada avoided the spirit and took down Ricochet with a dropkick. Okada built up momentum and then pinned Ricochet with the rainmaker lariat.

* After the match, Swerve Strickland came out and cut a promo about Ricochet losing. Prince Nana brought out a wagon filled with toilet paper and they had the fans throw the rolls at Ricochet.
