Kevin Owens vs. Gunther vs. Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn took place at the WWE SummerSlam Sunday 2026 PLE. Here are the highlights…

The match was originally supposed to be Finn Bálor vs. Sami Zayn. However, General Manager Nick Aldis announced that he was adding Gunther to the match. In addition to that, Aldis added the returning Kevin Owens to make it a Fatal 4-Way match.

Owens went right after Gunther and Balor. Owens hugged Zayn, but then the two started a hockey fight. Owens continued to control the match, delivering a Swanton to the other three on the outside. Gunther eventually slowed the pace down.

Owens went for a Swanton to Zayn, but Zayn got his knees up, and Owens was selling his neck. Zayn went for a Helluva Kick, but Gunther applied a sleeper to Zayn. Balor came off the top with a Coup de Grace, but Gunther broke up the pin. Owens got back into the mix and hit Stunners on Gunther and Balor. Zayn countered a Stunner with the Blue Thunder Bomb and went for a Helluva Kick, but Owens countered it with a Stunner and pinned Zayn for the win.
