Results of Kazuchika Okada vs. Pac at AEW Dynasty 2024

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Pac for the Continental title took place at AEW Dynasty 2024. Here are the highlights…

* There was a “holy shit” chant when the bell rang to start the match. The two had a feeling out process and wrestled on the mat during the early moments. Pac slipped to the outside and taunted Okada. Pac got back into the ring and then delivered a dive to Okada on the outside. Back in the ring, Pac kept his momentum going with an avalanche brainbuster.

* The two exchanged blows and then Okada sent Pac out of the ring with a dropkick. Okada gave Pac a draping DDT on the floor and Pac was barely able to beat the referee’s 10 count. They ended up back on the outside and Pac took down Okada with a springboard moonsault to the floor. Okada made it back into the ring before the referee counted to 10.

* Pac gave Okada a German suplex but Okada used his adrenaline to immediately deliver a shotgun dropkick and the crowd chanted “this is awesome!” Okada was going to make it rain but then flipped off the fans. Pac hit a deadlift German suplex but Okada kicked out. Pac went for the black arrow but missed.

* Okada went for the rainmaker but Pac was able to avoid it. Pac applied the brutalizer submission but Okada gouged at the eyes. Pac recovered and went for the black arrow again but Okada grabbed the referee. Pac went for the black arrow a third time but Okada got his knees up and then Okada pinned Pac with the rainmaker. Pac was given a standing ovation from fans after the match.
