Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest in a steel cage match took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24th 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Jesse Ventura was on guest commentary for the match.

* McIntyre gained the early advantage, sending Priest into the cage. After the commercial break, Priest mounted a comeback with a South of Heaven chokeslam, but McIntyre kicked out. Priest attempted to escape the cage but was caught and McIntyre hit a superplex, bringing him back into the ring. McIntyre delivered a Claymore, but Priest kicked out.

* McIntyre missed a Claymore but landed a South of Heaven chokeslam. He set up a steel chair in the corner and attempted another Claymore, but Priest dodged. Priest used the chair, hit McIntyre with another South of Heaven chokeslam, and followed with a conchairto. Priest then walked out of the cage to win the match.
