Cody Rhodes vs. Logan Paul for the WWE Title took place at WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024. Here are the highlights…

* The two had a feeling out process and there was a “Dusty” chant from fans. The intensity turned up when they shoved each other and then started trading blows. Logan gained the upper hand with a flying crossbody to Cody on the outside. Logan threw Cody into the steel steps and got Cody back into the ring.

* Logan worked over Cody for a few minutes but then Cody sent Logan to the outside. Logan took a sip of his prime drink and Cody ended up hitting Logan with the bottle. While the referee was distracted, Logan was handed brass knuckles by someone at ringside and Logan hit Cody in the ribs with them. Michael Cole yelled at Logan and called him a loser. Logan argued with Cole and that allowed Cody to take advantage.

* Back in the ring, Cody applied a figure four leg-lock but Logan was able to reach the rope. Cody hit a Cody cutter but Logan kicked out. Logan countered a vertebreaker with a Cross Rhodes on Cody but Cody kicked out.

* Logan and Cody ended up on the announce table. Logan went for a pedigree but Cody countered and gave Logan a Cody cutter onto the floor. Logan was about to be counted out but Cody stopped the referee.

* Cody wanted to put Logan through the other table but Logan hit his lucky punch. Cody was laid out on the table and Logan put Cody through the table with a frogsplash. Logan got Cody back in the ring and hit another frogsplash but Cody kicked out.

* The referee ended up being knocked down by mistake. Cody hit a vertebreaker but there was nobody to make the count. Logan gave Cody a low blow and went to use brass knuckles but was stopped by the special guest ring announcer. Cody then pinned Logan after hitting the Cross Rhodes twice.
