* Cody went right after Lesnar but was quickly suplexed. Lesnar also avoided a disaster kick. Cody managed to send Lesnar to the outside and took him down with a suicide dive.
* Back in the ring, Lesnar started to dominate and took Cody to Suplex City. Lesnar check trying to let Cody take a count out loss by sending him out of the ring but Cody refused.
* Lesnar gave Cody an F5 on the floor but he still beat the count. Lesnar took Cody back on the outside and gave him an F5 through the table. Cody still beat the count.

* The tide turned when Cody sent Lesnar into the ring post. Back in the ring, Cody hit two cutters but Lesnar kicked out.
* Lesnar managed to apply the Kimura lock but Cody finally got to the rope. Cody applied his own Kimura lock after Lesnar went into an exposed turnbuckle but Lesnar escaped.

* Cody finally won after hitting multiple cross roads. After the match, Lesnar shook hands with Cody and raised his hand in a sign of respect. Cody celebrated and hugged his mom at ringside.
