No Holds Barred Match: “The Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa took place at AEW Redemption 2026. Here are the highlights…

Jericho made his entrance to “Painkiller” by Judas Priest. Jericho, with his bat, dueled with Ciampa, who had a chair. Jericho quickly connected with a Codebreaker to gain the upper hand. Jericho, getting revenge from Beach Break, threw sand from a bag into Ciampa’s face. Ciampa set up a table, but Jericho responded by using a fire extinguisher.

The tide turned when Ciampa put Jericho through the table from the apron.

Ciampa introduced a hockey stick to the match, which got a pop, but then put on a Boston Bruins jersey, which received boos in Montreal. Ciampa attacked a toy mascot, which allowed Jericho to take advantage.

Jericho introduced hockey pucks with thumbtacks attached to them and gave Ciampa a suplex onto them. Jericho used sandpaper as a weapon to bust open Ciampa, and he threw Ciampa’s jersey in the trash. After Jericho set up a barbed wire table, Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho submission, but Ciampa used Jericho’s bat to break the hold.

Jericho regained the advantage by putting Ciampa through the barbed wire table with a Death Valley Driver from the apron. Back in the ring, Jericho set up a mirror across two chairs. However, Ciampa put Jericho through the mirror with an Air Raid Crash.

Ciampa tried to use a drill as a weapon, but Jericho countered with mist followed by a Judas Effect. Jericho grabbed another mirror and used it as a weapon on Ciampa. Jericho gave Ciampa another Judas Effect with an elbow pad covered with tacks, but Ciampa kicked out again. Jericho finished off Ciampa by using the drill to win the match.
