Bayley vs. Nia Jax for the WWE women’s title took place at the WWE Summerslam 2024 PLE in Cleveland, OH. Here are the highlights…

* Nia wore her Queen of the Ring crown to the ring.

* Bayley tried to target the arm of Nia in the early moments. However, Nia had too much power and dropped Bayley with a Samoan drop. Nia worked over Bayley and gave her a stinkface in the corner. Nia went for a legdrop off the second rope but missed.

* Bayley hit a Bayley to Belly suplex but Nia kicked out. Nia recovered and hit the annihilator but Bayley kicked out. Nia charged at Bayley but missed and hit the ring post.

* Both ended up on the outside and Nia gave Bayley a Samoan drop on the floor. Back in the ring, Bayley countered another annihilator attempt with a powerbomb out of the corner.

* Tiffany Stratton ran down with her Money in the Bank briefcase but Bayley knocked her off the apron. Bayley tried to finish off Nia but was caught with a powerbomb. Nia hit another powerbomb and then delivered two more annihilators to win the title.
