Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th 2026. Here are the highlights…

Lyra came out to a darker remix of her babyface theme music. Bayley was aggressive toward Lyra, slapping her and taking the fight to the outside. Bayley punched Lyra in the face, busting her open. After the referee checked on Lyra, she fought back and was able to gain the advantage.

After back-and-forth action, Lyra caught Bayley on the top rope. Lyra delivered a top-rope leg drop, but Bayley was able to kick out. Bayley came back with a sunset flip powerbomb into the corner, but Lyra avoided the Rose Plant. Lyra countered the Bayley-to-Belly with a submission hold. Bayley was unable to escape, and Lyra picked up the victory.

After the match, Lyra reapplied her submission finisher on the outside. She then gave Bayley the Nightwing onto the steel steps.
