Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed took place at WWE Backlash 2023. Here are the highlights…

* This match was for the United States title.

* Lashley went right after Theory and then turned his attention to Reed. Theory came back in and prevented Lashley from applying the Hurt Lock on Reed. Theory and Reed started working together against Lashley. Lashley fought back and speared Theory but Reed pulled Lashley out of the ring. Reed delivered a Vader bomb to the outside onto Lashley.

* Back in the ring, Reed hit the tsunami to Lashley but Theory broke up the pin. Reed powerslammed Theory and went for a moonsault but missed. Lashley speared Reed but Theory threw Lashley out of the ring and stole the pin to retain his title.
