Results of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. The Dogs at AEW Forbidden Door 2026
Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) (c) vs. The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) for the tag team titles took place at AEW Forbidden Door 2026. Here are the highlights…
Copeland and Christian had a strong start, but the momentum slowed when Christian went into the ring post. Connors capitalized by targeting Christian’s injured wrist. The Dogs used the steel steps to deliver further damage to Christian, but Copeland was able to make the save. Copeland eventually got the hot tag.

The Dogs were able to regain the advantage by double-teaming Copeland. Christian came in with a spear to Finlay, but Copeland went for the cover, only for Connors to shove Christian into the referee.
Cage & Cope looked to have the match won, but @ClarkConnors shoved @Christian4Peeps into the referee!

Copeland and Connors then took each other down with dueling spears. Finlay hit Christian with a shillelagh and went to use it on Copeland, but the lights went out. When they came back on, The Bang Bang Gang appeared on the stage. The returning Jay White laid out Finlay, and Copeland pinned Finlay with a spear.
