Report: WWE no longer requiring talent to be tested for Covid-19

As previously noted, it was announced that several WWE stars were pulled from the live events in New York City and Tampa on December 26th 2021 due to the “effects of Covid-19.”

According to report by Fightful Select, WWE has informed their talent that Covid-19 testing is no longer going to be required by the company.

Testing had been done twice a week for developmental talent but people at the Performance Center were reportedly informed this past weekend that it was no longer going to be mandatory. Main roster talent were said to be notified by e-mail about testing no longer being required but it’s unclear if a vaccination qualifier was added to the decision.

It was also noted that the news of testing no longer being required didn’t sit well with some in WWE.
