Report: What WWE had planned for Clash In Italy if Jacob Fatu was not cleared to perform
Jacob Fatu is scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Title at the 2026 WWE Clash in Italy PLE. However, there was concern about Fatu potentially being injured during a match against Solo Sikoa at a live event in Liverpool, England on Thursday.
Fightful.com was able to confirm that Fatu “did appear to be injured during the week, and WWE did discuss alternative plans for the Roman Reigns match at Clash in Italy.” It was also noted by False Finish that “one of the alternative plans was Drew McIntyre” as Reigns’ opponent. According to PWInsider.com, McIntyre recently wrapped up his filming commitments in Scotland for the Highlander reboot.
