Report: There is no internal concern within WWE or TKO in regards to the status of Roman Reigns
WWE world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns is no longer being advertised for RAW events in June of 2026. This led to rumors that Reigns was one of the wrestlers asked to take a pay cut by WWE’s parent company TKO. However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline shut down that idea while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Despite recent rumors suggesting world heavyweight champion Reigns was unhappy with TKO, there is reportedly no concern within either WWE or TKO about him leaving the company, and his standing remains firmly intact. According to WrestleVotes Radio, it was made clear internally that he is not someone TKO is willing to risk losing.
Reigns continues to be a major part of WWE’s creative plans and is not expected to go anywhere. In addition to Backlash, he is advertised to appear at the 2026 Clash in Italy PLE.
