Report on why WWE is bringing back live crowds sooner than expected
As previously noted, WWE is reportedly bringing back live fans on the July 16th edition of WWE Smackdown followed by the July 18th Money in the Bank PPV and July 19th edition of WWE RAW.
It was initially believed that WWE would be keeping the Thunderdome concept going until the lease at Yuengling Center expires in early August. Twitter account @WrestleVotes wrote the following about the matter…
Heard from a very reliable source that FOX has privately pushed for a return to live crowds over the past few weeks, actively seeking updates on timeframes, etc. They’d like their billion dollar investment on the same playing field as the MLB, NBA & others.
