Report on how WWE feels about Aleister Black’s work since his return to the company

As seen during the April 25th 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown, Aleister Black made his return to WWE after a four-year absence.

According to PWInsider.com, there has been praise about Black from within WWE’s creative circles and there was reportedly discussion about giving Black a stronger push on Smackdown. PWInsider noted that this information is coming from some of the same sources who said that Damian Priest was earmarked to be elevated to the upper card in 2023.

WWE is said to be happy with both Black’s in-ring work and merchandise sales. Black’s recent interactions with top-tier talent was said to have been intentionally done as part of the plan to elevate him further.
