Possible creative direction for storyline involving Iyo Sky and the returning Kairi Sane

As seen during the 2023 WWE Crown Jewel PLE, Kairi Sane officially made her return to the company and helped Iyo Sky retain the women’s title against Bianca Belair. Kairi’s return to WWE was rumored for months and Michael Cole indicated on commentary that Bayley was surprised by Kairi’s presence.

There have reportedly been discussions of more names joining up with Iyo and Kairi. Reddit insider kerrmit125 wrote that “another friend will join Sane & Sky, plus another that no one will see coming not even their closest ally.”

In what could be a tease for Asuka joining the group, insider Twitter/X account Boozer aka Better Wrestling Experience #BWE used her catchphrase on Twitter/X by writing that “its coming together and no one is ready.” Fightful.com also noted that WWE is working on potentially bringing back Sarray. Sarray left WWE earlier in 2023.
