Orange Cassidy reaches historic milestone during his AEW International title reign
Orange Cassidy has been the AEW International (formerly All-Atlantic) champion since the October 12th 2022 edition of Dynamite. Following Cassidy’s successful title defense on the July 26th 2023 edition of Dynamite, AEW fan account @DrainBamager noted the following…
“With 27 successful International title defenses in 289 days, Orange Cassidy as of this week has become the most successful champion in AEW history. That’s an average of 10.7 days per defense. What a run it’s been.”
Among the names Cassidy has defeated include Rey Fenix, Jay Lethal, Bandido, Swerve Strickland, Jeff Jarrett, Wheeler Yuta, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Buddy Matthews, and Katsuyori Shibata.
