To hype up this Sunday’s Words Collide PPV, numerous main roster WWE stars appeared on the August 30th 2022 edition of NXT 2.0. Several “pep talks” were given through-out the broadcast including Ciampa and Finn Balor to Bron Breakker, Rhea Ripley to Blair Davenport, Gunther and Butch to Tyler Bate, and Shayna Baszler to Mandy Rose.
Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop appeared and challenged NXT women’s tag team champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance for the Words Collide PPV. Ricochet also showed up and challenged Carmelo Hayes for the North American title.
