News regarding when CM Punk will return to WWE television following his Hell in a Cell match with Drew McIntyre

As seen during the 2024 WWE Bad Blood PLE, CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre inside the Hell in a Cell structure. The following night on RAW, Punk revealed that he will be going home for a period of time.

It was reported by Fightful.com that Punk is not expected to appear at the 2024 Crown Jewel PLE. In the past, Punk was critical of WWE running events in Saudi Arabia. In 2020, Punk told The Miz to “go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork” on Twitter/X.

The current belief is that Punk will be back before 2024 comes to an end. Twitter/X account WrestleVotes wrote that Punk is currently slated for the Survivor Series PLE in Vancouver. Last month, Punk teased going after Gunther and the WWE world heavyweight championship but his role at Survivor Series hasn’t been confirmed.
