More details regarding CM Punk’s backstage interaction with Triple H at 4/24/23 WWE RAW

As previously noted, CM Punk was reportedly backstage at the April 24th 2023 edition of WWE RAW in Chicago for a brief period of time to visit people but was asked to leave.

In the initial report, it was said that Punk met with Triple H. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com received additional details about the encounter…

“We are told by someone who saw the interaction that the two shook hands and Punk asked if it was OK that he visit and if Levesque had time, could they speak for two minutes. Levesque allegedly said he had to make sure with the ‘big guy’ it was OK, obviously a reference to Vince McMahon. It was perhaps a one to two minute interaction, if even that.”

Johnson was also told that Punk was never behind any closed doors or rooms and there no kind of “secret” meeting. Punk is still reportedly under contract to AEW for what one person termed a “lengthy” period of time.

Punk was in Florida over the weekend doing commentary work for MMA promotion Cage Fury Fighting Championships. It’s believed that since Punk was on the same flight to Chicago as several WWE talent, he decided to stop by at RAW and visit with people.
