Latest on the Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone to AEW rumors

Regarding the Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone to AEW rumors in recent weeks, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that it’s believed both will be starting with the company soon.

Meltzer stated that Mercedes has been doing acting work as of late “but there is talk her debut will be played up extremely big and that announcement could be soon.”

As far as Okada goes, it’s believed that he still hasn’t made a final decision. Meltzer wrote that “I know people here [in AEW] range from hopeful to I’d perceive as confident he will be coming.” Meltzer added that if Okada signs with AEW, he’ll most likely debut around the time of the Revolution PPV in March after he finishes his NJPW commitments.
