As previously noted, Kevin Owens’ WWE contract was reportedly set to expire in January 2022 which was sooner than originally thought.
Fightful Select is reporting that Owens has signed a new contract with WWE. Owens reportedly agreed to a multi-year deal after being given an “excellent offer” to stay.
While Owens had recently teased going to AEW, it was also noted that people within AEW didn’t think the company would have realistically matched what WWE offered him.
Kevin Owens re-signs with WWE as first reported by @SeanRossSapp. I can add that WWE felt strongly in keeping Owens & wanted to get this deal done for a while now. I’d imagine KO will remain part of the main event scene going forward.

Owens is scheduled to challenge for the WWE Title at the Day 1 PPV event.
