Kevin Nash to TKO: “Get your noses out of creative, go f*ck yourselves, let Triple H run the company”
On May 2nd 2026, it was reported that The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) mutually agreed to part ways with WWE. While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash addressed the situation regarding wrestlers being asked to take pay cuts by WWE’s parent company TKO…
“This TKO group comes in, and they buy out the Vince McMahon character, and they take over. And Vince kind of makes a power play, and next thing you know he’s back in it, and then he’s not.
And then all of a sudden this Triple H guy takes over, and everybody loves the direction that this Levesque guy is carrying the new flagship ship, WWE, into the Netflix era.
And then, lo and behold, like every other business on Earth, the guys above him that don’t have a clue besides getting paid more and being higher up on the food chain decide to start sticking their d*cks where they don’t need to.
‘We’re going to throw this guy in. Let’s put this guy in. Hey, how about him in the main event? What if we throw that guy in?… while we’re at it, let’s make the arena look like a NASCAR.’ But it doesn’t take anything away from Paul Levesque, because Paul still knows what the f*ck he’s doing.
So, if anybody out there thinks this might be applying to them—how about leaving the f*cking company alone? Get your f*cking noses out of creative, go f*ck yourselves, let Paul run the company.
You guys want to cut the talent—don’t throw it in Paul’s lap. Don’t make him be the bad guy. Don’t tell me, ‘Give me six years of creative process and give it to me by Wednesday, and if I don’t see a certain guy’s name on there, I’m gonna cut it by 50%.’
How about you grow a set and you walk in and tell them that? Because the Ultimate Fighting Championship is bleeding through every tourniquet that they have, and we’re going to cut people off of WWE to stop the bleeding from the other company you bought—because the UFC is hemorrhaging money and WWE isn’t. How about we just tell the truth?”
Nash also said the following…
“If something happens and Triple H is no longer at the helm, that there’s some kind of a power play—I hope that you would follow my lead, because the minute they f*ck with him, I’ll have nothing to do with that product the rest of my life.”
