Joe Hendry asked about the negative feedback to his concert segment with Danhausen
During the July 27th 2026 edition of WWE RAW, Danhausen and Joe Hendry performed in a “concert” segment which was interrupted by boxer Ryan Garcia and Judgment Day. While speaking to Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast, Hendry was asked about the negative feedback and here was his response…
“I’ll just be completely upfront and honest about this. We are all extremely passionate about what we do.
The goal is, and always has been for me, to give the audience value.
There have been times when I’ve been on the indies and made a music video making fun of my opponent. I remember there was one in Germany, and there were about 300 people there. I’m behind the curtain thinking, ‘Man, I hope this joke lands. Come on!’
You want it to land, and it’s the best feeling in the world when you give the audience that moment, that laugh.
So I’ll say this. We give absolutely everything we’ve got. I give my absolute best effort, and we’re going to try a lot of things. Some things are going to land, and some things won’t. But we will always give our best effort.”
