Jey Uso addresses his recent WWE segments receiving more dislikes than likes on YouTube
Several recent WWE YouTube videos featuring Jey Uso have drawn noticeably negative fan reactions, with some uploads receiving more dislikes than likes (as shown by browser extensions that estimate YouTube dislikes, since YouTube no longer publicly displays the count). The backlash has largely centered on fan frustration with Jey’s booking and his previously world title reign.
In a video published to WWE’s YouTube channel, Jey addressed the situation…
“I really don’t care about the fans no more because, when I was doing my thing, they saw the hate. I can’t miss it. It’s all in my face—social media, whatever it is. When my name pops up, I see it out there.
I’m going to let y’all know: I have some of the most disliked videos on WWE’s social media platforms. Look it up, Uce. There are like five, six, ten videos out there. It’s all good. If anything, Jackie O, that lit a fire under me. All the noise, all the opinions—cool. It is what it is because that’s part of the job.
[You don’t think you were beloved by the WWE Universe?] I take it back. It’s 50/50, man. Like I said, I’m confused. They’re pulling me left and right. I ‘yeet,’ I talk crap—I’m just being me now. My Day Ones know who they are. But there were a lot of people who doubted me, and they’re still doubting me right now.”
