Inaccurate report circulating the internet in regards to Carlito and WWE

As seen during the 2023 WWE Backlash PLE, Carlito made a surprise appearance during the Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest match.

It was reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that Carlito was spotted in Orlando, FL. on Thursday Johnson was told that Carlito was in Orlando for something related to WWE but his exact reason for being there wasn’t confirmed. A rumor ended up circulating the internet that Carlito was backstage for the June 2nd 2023 edition of Smackdown and it was attributed to PWInsider. Johnson was quick to shoot down the Carlito/Smackdown report via Twitter…
