How many tickets have been sold for AEW Collision’s debut since the return of CM Punk was announced

As seen during the May 31st 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, President Tony Khan announced/confirmed that CM Punk will be returning for the debut of Collision as a “featured” star. Prior to the segment, just under 7,000 tickets were distributed for Collision’s debut in Chicago, IL at the United Center.

In an update on ticket sales, Twitter account @WrestleTix reported that 7,428 tickets have been distributed as of Wednesday morning. The number is an increase of over 500 tickets since Punk’s return was confirmed. At this time, the arena has been configured to have a capacity of 8,698 seats but it can increased if more tickets are sold.

AEW also announced on Wednesday that an episode of Collision will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum (venue for the first Starrcade) on Saturday, August 12th. Punk is featured in the official advertisement.
