Grayson Waller wins the WWE NXT world title at Heatwave 2026

In the main event of WWE NXT Heatwave 2026, Grayson Waller defeated Zilla Fatu, Cruz Montana and the now-former champion Tony D’Angelo in a four-way match to win the NXT world title. The event took place Sunday afternoon at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.

The finish saw Cruz hit Spin the Block on D’Angelo, only for Waller to throw Cruz out of the ring and steal the pin on D’Angelo. D’Angelo’s reign ended after 148 days, during which he successfully defended the title against Ethan Page, Kam Hendrix and Naraku.
