With Wrestlemania 40 coming up this weekend, here are some Friday morning WWE news items…
* It was revealed at WaleMania on Thursday night that Samantha Irvin will do the ring announcing for every match at both nights of Wrestlemania 40.
* Earlier this week, Cody Rhodes filed a trademark for the term “The Renaissance Era.”
* PWInsider.com noted that Motionless in White, the band that performed Rhea Ripley’s entrance music, will be at Wrestlemania and will potentially be playing her to the ring.
* Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X took place on Thursday and featured WWE’s Shayna Bazler. Numerous WWE personalities were in attendance including WWE President Nick Khan, CM Punk, Nia Jax, Karrion Kross, Natalya, and Braun Strowman.
* Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was almost two hours late for his appearance at WWE World. Here is video footage of Rock cutting a promo at the event…
