Former WWE writer addresses Road Dogg being named co-lead writer for Smackdown

Over the weekend, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer “Road Dogg” Brian James has been named as the new co-lead writer for the Smackdown brand after previous being part of the creative team in 2017. Former WWE writer Dave Schilling was among those that commented on the news…

“Road Dogg was by far the best writer I worked with at WWE. People should be thrilled he’s back on SmackDown. Brian was always good to me. Always listened and respected my input. More than I could say for others.”

Schilling previously claimed that Vince McMahon said “f*ck em” in response to fans being unhappy about Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin taking place at Wrestlemania 35.
