Former WWE star Velveteen Dream goes viral after he snaps at boxing press conference
Patrick Clark, formerly known as Velveteen Dream in WWE, will make his boxing debut this Saturday, August 29th against podcaster and social media personality Ryan Pownall at Duel Arena 1 in Orlando, Florida.
During Thursday’s press conference, Clark snapped after Pownall insulted him. After Clark mentioned several historic arenas he had wrestled in, Pownall mocked his career trajectory by saying he had gone from those venues to competing in “food courts at the mall.”
Clark attempted to go after Pownall and briefly grabbed a metal pole before security intervened and took it away. After Clark was removed, Pownall conducted the promotional face-off by himself, with Duel Arena referring to him as the “CEO of ragebait.”
Clark’s stunt went viral on Twitter/X with the headline, “Patrick Clark Grabs Pole in Tense Boxing Press Conference Clash.”
