Former WWE star EC3: “Social media has broken people’s brains”
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s 15-year-old daughter, Vaughn Evelyn Levesque, performed “America the Beautiful” at the 2026 WWE SummerSlam PLE. In a video published to his YouTube channel, former WWE writer Vince Russo addressed the negative feedback to her performance while speaking to former WWE star EC3…
“Triple H and Stephanie’s daughter, I don’t know if you know this or not, she sang ‘America the Beautiful.” She’s a very young girl, bro. The pressure of, number one, 35,000 people, and number two, being the daughter of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, where people are just looking for you to fail. She goes out there, she performs this, she freaking kills it, bro. And what type of a response was on the internet? Like, I just don’t understand what type of people are these, you know? I can’t imagine being that young, 35,000 people, and you’re going to criticize. I just don’t know who these people are or what their lives look like. I don’t. I can’t wrap my head around it, man.”
EC3 then issued the following response…
“Social media has broken people’s brains.
These fans, this sect kind of had a win in their column when Triple H is like, ‘Hey, maybe they shouldn’t complain so much about the creative and just enjoy the show.’
And then, all right, so that’s kind of like a statement where it’s like, ‘Well, maybe you should write a better show. Maybe fans’ opinions do matter.’
But then they turn around and react like that to an innocent young girl.
So you lose the narrative. You’re not worth listening to. Your opinions aren’t validated if you’re not going to get what you want. You don’t even know what you want, but you’re not going to make any headway in the stream of consciousness.
Especially to that man who sees that about his daughter, dude. A father’s love for their daughter is unquestionable and forever honored.
So, f*ck you, man. How dare the nerve.”
