Here are a few backstage news items following the August 16th 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite in Nashville, TN…
* Fightful.com noted that former WCW world champion and actor David Arquette was in attendance at the event. Former WWE stars CJ Perry aka Lana (she lives in the Nashville area) and Summer Rae were also backstage.
* According to PWInsider.com, Warner Brothers Discovery was “thrilled” about AEW’s partnership with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre board game. * According to Fightful, wrestler Dean Alexander played the role of Leatherface on Dynamite.
* El Hijo Del Vikingo, who has been making appearances for AEW in recent months, has pulled off this weekend’s Game Changer Wrestling events in Atlantic City, NJ due to an injury. There were reports that Vikingo passed out backstage following AAA Triplemania XXXI Mexico City.
