Fan that was involved in altercation with CM Punk during WrestleMania 42 weekend wants an apology
Following his match with Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 42, CM Punk was involved in an altercation with a fan at the Las Vegas Strip hotel/casino where talent has been staying. Punk ended up knocking the fan’s phone out of his hand.
The fan’s video footage from his phone was obtained by TMZ. WWE stars Bayley and AJ Lee were speaking in a public area of the MGM Grand shortly after midnight when he approached them and said, “We love you, Bayley.” Bayley responded as she was hugging AJ, “Go away, dude, get out of here” and pushed the phone down. Right after that, Punk intervened.
The fan, who asked to remain anonymous, spoke to TMZ about the incident. He referenced Punk’s loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of night two of WrestleMania 42 and stated that he is seeking an apology. He said, “I want an apology — shake my hand — I’m not going to sue him or put him in jail. I just want an apology.”
It was noted by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that the lack of security at the hotel was a topic of conversation during WrestleMania week.
