Dominik Mysterio says he “hated” being on WWE television as a kid
During an appearance on the JackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast, Dominik Mysterio discussed being on WWE television as a child as part of the Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero storyline. Here was the exchange…
JaackMaate’s Happy Hour: “You grew up in front of the crowds, right? We’ve seen videos and footage of you all through the years of being that little boy in the ring, and now a man. So I feel like you probably never really felt the nerves because it’s something that you sort of grew up with. Is that fair to say?”
Dominik: “I don’t know if that’s necessarily fair to say. I would say when I was a kid, I just didn’t understand it.”
JaackMaate’s Happy Hour: “Okay. Did you like it as a kid?”
Dominik: “No, I hated it. Not wrestling. I loved wrestling. I loved watching it. I just didn’t enjoy the attention on me.”
JaackMaate’s Happy Hour: “Okay. So how do you feel now that you’re one of the biggest names in this… what is it? Do we say sport? Do we say show? What would you say?”
Dominik: “I mean, I’m not sure. To me, it’s just another day and outshining my deadbeat dad.”
