WWE NXT star Cora Jade will be out of action for nearly a year due to torn ACL injury
WWE NXT star Cora Jade was injured during a live event this past weekend. Cora had been in a match against NXT women’s champion Lyra Valkyria and according to fans in attendance, Cora landed awkwardly on her leg and there was a botched pin by Lyra. After the match, Cora was checked on by officials.
During the January 16th 2024 edition of NXT, it was confirmed that Cora suffered a torn ACL and will be out of action for nearly a year. Cora wrote “it is only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything” on Twitter/X in regards to her injury. Cora had just returned from a four-month hiatus at the WWE NXT Deadline 2023 PLE.
As previously noted, there is concern over WWE’s training process due to the number of injuries in recent months.
