CM Punk teases an appearance at the upcoming WWE/AAA Worlds Collide event in Chicago
While speaking with Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic-Con, CM Punk teased a potential appearance at AAA’s upcoming Worlds Collide event on September 26th 2026. Discussing an upcoming masked Straight Edge Society action figure, Punk noted that its release is well-timed…
“I think it’s super cool. Well, I think it’s also really timely because our sister promotion, AAA, is branching out and doing stuff. I think Triplemania is going to be partly in Las Vegas this year. We just announced a show for them at the Allstate Arena. So it might be the perfect time for me to kind of dip my toe in the AAA pool.
I’ve worn a mask before. I’ve gotten my head shaved in a mask-versus-hair match before. We can set the table, and we can do it all over again in 2026. That would be cool.”
During a panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con, CM Punk also “fantasy booked” a potential match against Dominik Mysterio at Worlds Collide.
The moment came after Danhausen jokingly tried to purchase Punk’s WWE Championship during the discussion. Rey Mysterio interrupted and suggested Danhausen should buy Dominik’s AAA Mega Championship instead, prompting Punk to tease a possible match by saying the following…
“They’ve got a show coming up in Chicago, don’t they? Does Dominik need an opponent? That’s fantasy booking.”
